Chinese new year finshed
For the last 2 weeks we have been learning about chinese new year and this is what I learned: was born in 2008.⭐It is the most colourful festival in the world⭐The children get red envelopes with lucky money in them⭐There is dragon festivals⭐Chinese New Year is also called Lunar New Year or Spring Festival ⭐the Chinese zodiac calendar has a cycle of 12 years.⭐The 12 Chinese zodiac animals are: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse,goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig.⭐families will visit each other and hand over little gifts. ⭐Children sometimes get oranges, sweets or coins. Get it in even numbers⭐Don’t cut your hair because you are cutting the good luck⭐The date of chinese new year changes each year⭐Chinese new year is also known as spring festival⭐People enjoy eating lots of delicious food, including noodle soup, which traditionally brings luck for the year ahead.⭐The festivities continue for two weeks, finishing with a special lantern festival, which signals the end of the New Year celebration period.
